Bulletin 277 launched - Prevention, recognition and management of UTIs
This bulletin supports the recognition, management and prevention of UTIs and provides advice for a range of patient groups including those over 65, men, women and catheterised individuals.
Advise on diagnosis and treatment is provided and in line with the Public Health England guidance. Prescribing information sheets on fosfomycin and pivmecillinam have been produced for those unfamiliar with these treatments.
