PrescQIPP e-learning: Changes to login procedure
Over the last 12 months we've been listening to feedback from users of our e-learning platform. During this period we've made several changes, designed to make the system more accessible and easier to use.
One of the most popular comments we receive is that in order to access e-learning users must; register for a website account, wait for approval, login to the website, find the e-learning pages and finally click 'Access E-learning'. Many users have told us that they (and their colleagues) find this process confusing and unnecessary.
We thought it was about time we addressed this. Over the coming days we will be splitting e-learning into its own system that's completely independent from the website. This means you'll be able to access e-learning directly, without first logging into the website. You'll be able to go directly to the e-learning platform and login within a single click.
There won't be any changes to your account, or any of the courses you've enrolled on. But the way you access your account will change slightly, as we'll need to create you a new password for your e-learning account. The process will work like this:
- Over the next couple of days you'll receive an email from us with a new password to access your e-learning account (until you receive this email you can access e-learning the 'old' way through the website)
- Go directly to our e-learning platform at https://www.prescqipp.info/learn and use your email address and new password to login
- You can change your password to something more memorable in the Profile tab within the e-learning platform if you wish
- Going forward use the link above to access e-learning. We'll also publish this link on our website so you can access it at any time (but you won't need to login to the website to access this link)
