Introducing the PrescQIPP Leadership Academy

We are delighted to have launched the PrescQIPP Leadership Academy.

The first two programmes are:

1. A Leadership Academy intensive bespoke course of six sessions for senior Pharmacists who will be working at place level in the new commissioning structures in England, or seeking leadership positions within Health Boards. The expert-led sessions will focus on the development and application of leadership skills within a medicines optimisation context.

You can find more details including the dates for each of the four cohorts and the simple online application form here. The deadline for applications is Friday 19 March.

2. A series of 12 bitesize introductory ‘Leadership at lunch’ webinars for anyone who wishes to attend including pharmacy technicians and PCN pharmacists. There is a single sign up for all 12 sessions*, and a certificate of completion available to anyone attending all and passing a short test.

We are also developing content for a course exclusively for the heads of the new ICSs/IPMO leads which we would like to launch later this year. If you would like to be involved in this, please also get in touch.

*Please note that the link will currently only show 11 sessions as we can only schedule sessions up to one year in advance, but the 12th will be added automatically for March 2022 as soon as we are able to – you don’t need to do anything.
