Skills training - Medicines Optimisation Project Management sessions

On 26th June, 1-2pm, we welcome David Bailey for the first of the project management skills training webinars.

Project Management is one of the most popular projects on this year's work plan. We'll be delivering a three-session course on the process of managing projects successfully. Project management is a huge topic so our sessions will concentrate on the major areas to maximise your chances of success: Understanding the roles and process. These lively and interactive sessions will provide examples of project management with practical tools and techniques used within the medicines team context.

Across the three webinars we will cover many of the processes, tools and techniques needed to manage a project with the maximum chance of success. Improve your chances of implementing projects successfully to make a difference to patient care.

In the first of these webinars, David Bailey will introduce managing projects, looking at specific examples from the medicines team context. He will cover the importance of project scope to identify what will be delivered and who will receive it and the need for a governance structure to control the project.

Presentations will be followed by a Q & A session.
