This webinar was presented by Jackie Smith and Sharon Tansley, NHS Bedfordshire CCG, to present the 2013 PrescQIPP Award winning project on 'Optimising the use of inhalers in the care home setting'. This project was highly popular with the attendees at our annual event and innovation awards - and won the Frail Elderly Category award.

The project focused on optimising the use of inhalers in elderly patients resident in Care Homes through directly supporting both the patient and the carers. It was designed to evaluate the potential impact on the holistic health of these vulnerable people when one to one support is given to improve inhaler technique.The webinar is now available below (please note the quality of the main presentation is a little quiet in parts, however it is perfectly audible if you turn your volume up):
