Clinical Masterclass - 11th February 2026 - Clinical Credibility, System Impact: A Non-Traditional Route to Consultant-Level Prescribing Leadership

On Wednesday 11th February 1pm - 2pm, we welcomed Denise Rosembert to present on Clinical Credibility, System Impact: A Non-Traditional Route to Consultant-Level Prescribing Leadership.

Denise is pharmacist credentialed at consultant level specialising in biologics and advanced therapies; she has worked collaboratively as a key member of multidisciplinary teams including gastroenterology, rheumatology, vasculitis, and dermatology and has led multiprofessional colleagues in her former role as Lead Pharmacist for Biologics and Homecare at Cambridge University Hospitals.  With extensive experience, she has managed complex patient caseloads as an independent prescriber and has driven innovation in pharmacy, pharmacy homecare, optimisation of prescribing and development of workflows in Epic systems as a formerly certified Epic analyst.
 
Denise completed the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s (CPhO) Clinical Fellowship with NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service, holds an MSc and has authored key publications shaping practice in her field.  In her role as Assistant Director for Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement within the Healthcare and Pharmacy team at NHS London Procurement Partnership, she has delivered a London wide Ophthalmology high-cost drug pathway and health economic model in collaboration with Integrated Care Systems and NHS trusts as well as leading other projects. Denise was a member of the NHS England medicines optimisation clinical reference group and is a National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Medicines and Prescribing Associate. Denise mentors colleagues on the FMLM CPhO Clinical Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellowship, Commonwealth Pharmacists Association Fellowship and RPS Consultant credentialing programme.
