On Tuesday 3rd June, 1pm - 2pm we welcome Professor Ian Wilkinson to present an online Clinical Masterclass on Hypertension.
Ian is a consultant physician (Clinical Pharmacology and General Medicine) and Professor of Therapeutics at the University of Cambridge.
Ian has over 30 years of clinical experience in investigating and treating high blood pressure (hypertension), with expertise in secondary causes of hypertension, and hypertension in young people and pregnancy.
As President of the British and Irish Hypertension Society, Ian has led the development of new National Guidelines on hypertension and supported the NHS with public health campaigns and training to ensure more people get diagnosed and treated. Ian had also worked local ICBs to introduce new hypertension guidelines and simplify drug use.
