On Wednesday 14th May we welcome Chloe Benn to present on "Paediatric medicine optimisation - what can you do to make a difference?"

Chloe Benn is a Consultant Pharmacist specializing in paediatrics at Barts Health NHS Trust. With over two decades of experience, Chloe leads pharmaceutical care for children across this large London Trust and practices as a specialist Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis Pharmacist.

Her previous roles include Principal Pharmacist for Women and Children at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Chloe’s expertise extends to neonatal care, maternity, and gynecology, ensuring optimized medication use for vulnerable populations.

Chloe has a passion for supporting the education, training & development of her colleagues. For example through development of the NPPG “Starting out in Children's Medicines Optimisation” course, and participation in NPPG conferences & specialist interest groups.

Chloe has a special interest in portfolio development & consultant credentialing which lead from a secondment to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Faculty Development Group and subsequently contributions to the RPS updated consultant credentialing process. She regularly mentors colleagues undergoing the process to support them in delivering a successful portfolio submission.

Chloe is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, UKCPA and the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacist Group (NPPG), where she currently serves as Vice Chair since January 2023.
