Bulletin 148: Wound care - Support bandages and stockinettes
This bulletin reviews the place in therapy of support bandages and stockinette and is aimed at ensuring these products are prescribed and used appropriately. Support bandages are used in the prevention of oedema and in the management of mild sprains and strains. Stockinette has a range of uses including managing skin conditions such as eczema (including wet and dry wrapping).
