Educational Supervisor and Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) Training

Our two new multiprofessional courses, Educational Supervisor (ES) Training and Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) Training, are designed to upskill the healthcare workforce, support excellence in training and increase capacity for high-quality supervision.

Whether you are supporting learners in the workplace or developing the next generation of prescribers, these practical courses will help you build the knowledge, skills and confidence to make a difference.

Flexible learning with practical application

Each course is a structured 10-week programme, with an expected commitment of approximately two hours per week (around 20 hours in total). This includes online learning, self-reflection activities, live online webinars and application of learning in the workplace. Interactive activities and real world case discussions will help you put learning into practice.

Both courses are designed by NHS professionals for NHS professionals and delivered by experienced multiprofessional clinicians, educational supervisors and DPPs. Participants can also join PrescQIPP Educational Supervisor or DPP communities of practice for networking and ongoing support, and access PrescQIPP resources supporting clinical practice, medicines optimisation and prescribing.
