Skills training - Mentoring - Part 1

On 4th December, we welcome Helen Liddell, in the first of 2 skills based sessions introducing the subject of Mentoring.

Helen will look at how mentorship might work and what the benefits to each party are. Helen will use examples from Medicines Management to demonstrate the range of roles and functions that might be covered by such a relationship.

Within this we explore the skills required to be a mentor as well as considering issues from the mentee‘s point of view of.

Practical tips are provided such as how to prepare for meetings, and how to maximise the benefit to both parties - particularly where only remote contact may be possible.

The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session.
